Mobile interim servicing
If you cover a lot of miles, twelve months is a long time to leave a car on the same oil. An interim service every six months keeps on top of the things that wear fastest — and we do it at your house or your workplace, so the car never leaves the drive.

An interim service covers the oil, the oil filter, and a thorough check of everything that wears between annual services. It suits anyone doing frequent journeys or high mileage, where a yearly service leaves too long a gap.
We carry out the whole thing at your address. There's no garage to drop the car at and nothing to collect afterwards — the work happens where the vehicle already is.
When you need this
Any of these sound familiar?
- You cover more than average mileage and the annual service feels too far apart
- Oil is dark, low, or the service light has come on
- The car is used for work and needs to stay reliable
- It has been six months or more since the last oil change
What the job covers
- Drain and replace the engine oil with the correct grade for your vehicle
- Fit a new oil filter
- Check and top up brake fluid, coolant, screenwash and power steering fluid
- Inspect brake pads and discs for wear
- Check tyre condition, tread depth and pressures, including the spare
- Check lights, wipers, horn and battery condition
- Inspect suspension, steering, drive belts and hoses
- Reset the service indicator where the vehicle has one
Why have it done at home?
You don't lose a day to it. No dropping the vehicle off, no arranging a lift back, no waiting for a phone call to say it's ready. We turn up where it's parked, do the work, and you carry on with whatever you were doing.
Price depends on the vehicle and the oil it takes. Ring or message with your registration and we will tell you before we start.
Before we arrive
Please leave enough room to get round all four sides of the vehicle, and have the keys and locking wheel nut key to hand.
Questions we get asked
How often should I have an interim service?
Roughly every six months, or every 6,000 miles, if you do a lot of driving. If you only cover a few thousand miles a year, a full service once a year is usually enough on its own.
What is the difference between an interim and a full service?
An interim covers the oil, the oil filter and the safety checks. A full service adds the air filter, fuel filter and cabin filter, plus a longer list of checks. Most people alternate — full service once a year, interim in between.
Do you need water or electricity?
No. Everything we need comes with us. If a job does need power we'll say so when you book.
What happens to the old oil?
It comes away with us and goes to a licensed waste oil collection. Nothing is left behind and nothing goes down a drain.

Broken down or won't start? Ring rather than book — roadside work can't wait for a slot.
