A full service is the major annual one. All the filters come off and get replaced, the oil and the fluids are renewed, and everything that wears gets inspected and written down.
We do it at your address. Most cars take between two and three hours depending on what needs doing, and you can carry on with your day while we work.
When you need this

What the job covers
- Drain and replace the engine oil with the correct grade, and fit a new oil filter
- Replace the air filter, the fuel filter where the vehicle takes one, and the cabin (pollen) filter
- Check and top up all fluid levels — brake fluid, coolant, power steering, screenwash
- Full brake inspection: pads, discs, drums, shoes, pipes and handbrake operation
- Check tyres for wear, damage and correct pressures, spare included
- Inspect the exhaust system for blows, corrosion and secure mountings
- Check steering, suspension, wheel bearings, drive shafts and CV boots
- Test the battery, charging system, lights, wipers and horn
- Check drive belts, hoses and the cooling system
- Reset the service indicator and stamp the service book
Why have it done at home?
You don't lose a day to it. No dropping the vehicle off, no arranging a lift back, no waiting for a phone call to say it's ready. We turn up where it's parked, do the work, and you carry on with whatever you were doing.
Price varies with the vehicle, the filters it takes and the oil it needs. Send your registration over and we will give you a figure before anything starts.
Before we arrive
Allow around two to three hours. Please leave room to work all round the vehicle, and have the keys, service book and locking wheel nut key ready.
Questions we get asked
Will a mobile service affect my warranty?
Servicing your car away from a main dealer does not invalidate a manufacturer warranty, provided the work follows the schedule and the correct parts and oil grades are used. That is what we do, and the service book gets stamped.
How long does a full service take?
Usually two to three hours, depending on the vehicle and what turns up during the inspection. We will tell you if anything is going to take longer.
Can you service the car while I am at work?
Yes — a lot of our servicing is done in workplace car parks. We just need permission to be there and enough space around the vehicle.
What if you find something wrong?
We tell you what we have found, what it means and what it would cost to put right. Nothing gets done without you agreeing to it first.
